ရိုးရှင်းမှုဖြင့်ပြီးပြည့်စုံခြင်း

Artist Win Phay Myint also known as WPM was born in 1948, in Min Buu, Magway. He grew up loving fine art since he was a child. He learned his basic art skills under a famous artist, Dr. U Lun Gwye and continued to study European art styles under Artist U Thein Han. In addition, he studied pallet knife art with the help of Artist Shwe Aung Thein and proceeded to learn modern art styles from Artist U Thet. 

 

WPM’s first ever solo show was in 1977. In 2018, he held his latest solo exhibition at Law Ka Natt Art Gallery. Now, four years after his latest solo show, this would be his 19th exhibition for WPM. 

 

WPM is an idealistic painter who loves and cherishes the beauty of nature. He dedicates his favorite lyric “The one true beauty is within the hands of nature” to his paintings by emphasizing the natural lightings, shades and colors, creating his ideal world full of true beauty.
