This September, the Sea Gallery proudly features pieces of art that capture Myanmar's splendor of nature. The majority of the artworks are inspired by the seasons of summer, which provide us with warmth and uplifting energy, and winter, which has glowing, shining, and sparkling landscapes. There is also a hint of the monsoon, which evokes the vivid green color of trees after being washed clean of dust by the rain. Not only the 3 seasons of Myanmar but also leaves grounded due to the weather were used in the artworks, representing the magnificent nature of Myanmar, the Golden Land. This talented artist is named Kyaw Nyo. He is not just a painter; by using his talent in music, especially piano, he is also the creator of the artwork of nature’s rhythms. The flying, vibrant leaves, bouncing colors, the flowing river, and the texture of the outer bark of the trees are mostly seen in his artworks. He senses the tunes of these pieces and plays them on a canvas like a piano as musical pieces. So, the artworks express the rhythms of the colors and the compositions harmoniously. As an enthusiast of Gustav Klimt and Henri Matisse, he created his own collage art style. The main concept of his artworks is creating an extraordinary piece of art by using ordinary materials like various types of leaves and his vivid color usage. He applies the leaves to the canvas with acrylic paint using collage, an overlapping painting technique, and occasionally he separates the leaves to obtain just the footprint on the canvas. He mainly used bright colors to create a unique combination of color palettes that were rarely seen in most of the paintings. He carefully selected, cut, and arranged all the leaves to convey artistic expression, communicate narratives, or explore abstract concepts, resulting in a rich and diverse form of visual art. The combinations of all these materials are evoking the major, middle, and minor keys of nature, as the title says "Symphony of Chromatic Nature".
